Terms of Use

These conditions govern every visit, search, and use of content on Red River County Criminal History. Continuing to browse means that the user accepts them. Anyone who does not agree should stop using the website.

NO FCRA USE. Red River County Criminal History is privately operated and has no affiliation with a government body. Neither this website nor its advertising partners offers a service for credit, employment, insurance, tenant, or other decisions regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). It is a Texas records-reference resource, not a private investigator or consumer reporting agency.

1. What This Website Is

This private reference site is independent of every public office. It does not store official criminal records, retrieve documents, conduct official checks, or submit filings.

Its purpose is to identify record custodians and access routes, including the Red River County Sheriff, criminal court clerks, Texas Department of Public Safety Crime Records Service, and Texas Public Sex Offender Registry. Public access remains subject to the Texas Public Information Act, Government Code Chapter 552, criminal-history dissemination limits in Government Code Chapter 411, and each custodian's rules.

2. Rules for Using This Site

You agree that you will not:

  • Use site information to threaten, stalk, or harass a person
  • Make housing, employment, insurance, or credit decisions from website content
  • Violate federal, Texas, or local law
  • Attempt unauthorized access to any system or account
  • Deploy scrapers, bots, or other automated collection tools
  • Interfere with website performance or another visitor's access

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

No one may use information found here or through a linked tool to stalk, intimidate, threaten, harass, or discriminate. Texas law places particular limits on misuse of Texas Public Sex Offender Registry information. Registry access supports lawful safety awareness, never vigilante conduct, discriminatory treatment, or punishment outside the justice system.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and do not create consumer, credit, or background reports. Our advertising partners likewise are not presented as sources for FCRA screening. Data from this website or a linked tool may not be used to:

  • Set insurance terms or evaluate creditworthiness
  • Evaluate a housing or rental applicant
  • Make a hiring or termination decision
  • Decide eligibility for a permit, license, or public benefit
  • Serve any other purpose governed by the FCRA

A lawful check for a regulated purpose must come from an authorized, FCRA-compliant provider or the appropriate official Texas channel.

5. No Legal Advice

Website content is general information, not legal advice about a Red River County charge, warrant, conviction, expunction, or nondisclosure issue. Individual guidance must come from a licensed Texas attorney.

6. No Warranties

All material and services are provided "as is." We make no promise that:

  • A partner's search result is complete or accurate
  • Every page is current, complete, and error free
  • The website will always be available without interruption
  • The platform has no bug, error, or security weakness

Charges, dispositions, expunctions, and nondisclosure orders can change the public record. Gaps and delays are possible, and no website content is an official statement from a sheriff, court, clerk, or Texas agency.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

Outside links may lead to sheriffs, courts, Texas agencies, legal resources, or commercial search services. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their availability, content, data practices, prices, or terms.

8. Intellectual Property

Text, code, graphics, and logos belong to Red River County Criminal History or its content partners. Written permission is required to copy, alter, distribute, or create derivative material.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the greatest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for damages arising from website use or reliance on information supplied here or by a linked service.

10. Indemnification

The user agrees to defend and hold us harmless from claims, demands, and proceedings caused by the user's conduct or breach of these terms, including related legal costs.

11. Governing Law

Texas law governs these terms. Any dispute related to use of the website must be brought in a court located in Texas.

12. Changes to These Terms

Revised terms take effect when the updated version is posted on this page.

13. Cutting Off Access

We may suspend or end access at any time, with or without advance notice.

14. Severability

If one provision is ruled invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in force. The affected language will be narrowed only as needed.
